Abstract

This article explores the development of automated homonym lexicon databases based on corpus linguistics in global linguistics. It examines methods of identifying homonyms, distinguishing their meanings in context, and classifying them into semantic categories using modern computational linguistics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Based on the experience of countries such as the UK, USA, Germany, Russia, and China, the study investigates the actual usage, frequency, and grammatical features of homonyms through corpus-based models. The findings have significant practical implications for lexicography, translation, NLP, language teaching, and automatic semantic analysis.
