Currently, many new concepts have emerged in the field of computational linguistics and information technology, among which concepts such as thesaurus and ontology are often used interchangeably. Thesaurus and ontologies are widely used in data storage, processing and retrieval, as well as in the fields of artificial intelligence and natural language processing. This article analyzes ontological-type structures, in particular, the distinction of concepts in thesaurus and ontology, and discusses concept examples.
