Linguopoetics studies the aesthetic function and poetic potential of linguistic units in literary works. This method of analysis helps uncover the deep layers of meaning within a text and serves to understand the author’s style and creative mastery. The article discusses the linguopoetic potential of occasionalisms in the analysis of literary texts. It presents views on the role of occasionalisms in ensuring the emotional-expressive quality of a literary work and their formation. The linguopoetic potential of occasionalisms in literary text analysis is examined through the example of the poetry of People’s Poet of Uzbekistan, Iqbol Mirzo.
