THE USE OF WEBQUESTS IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING TO FOSTER STUDENTS’ COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE

Modern education actively introduces innovative technologies, among which web quests are of particular interest. This work is devoted to studying the effectiveness of using web quests as an innovative tool for developing the communicative skills of students learning foreign languages. The study examines how web quests can contribute to increasing students' motivation, developing their critical thinking, cooperation, and ability to work with information. The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of web quests on the formation of communicative competence in students learning foreign languages. The object of the study is the process of developing students' communicative skills. The subject of the study is web quest technology as a way to develop the communicative skills of middle school students.
