This article thoroughly examines the challenges in translating metaphors from Uzbek into English, such as linguistic and cultural differences, lexical-semantic ambiguities, difficulties in finding equivalents and misinterpretation of idiomatic expressions. The study suggests the application of methods as contextual thinking, adaptation, and equivalence to overcome these issues. The results of the research provide practical guidance for translators accurately and fully conveying artistic and emotional content while considering intercultural differences.
