This article examines the phenomenon of code-switching and its manifestation in modern Uzbek language. It highlights the primary reasons for code-switching, including the influence of global languages, the lack of Uzbek equivalents for technological and scientific terms, and social trends and adaptation needs. Through examples, the article illustrates how code-switching is widely used in technology, social media, and education. While this phenomenon is a natural part of language development, it may pose challenges to the purity of the Uzbek language and cultural identity.
