This article explores the synonymic characteristics of phraseological units in the Uzbek language and analyzes their gradation. Studying the synonymic layers of phrases is important in linguistics, as they reflect the richness of meaning and stylistic diversity within a language. The article discusses the structure of synonymous phrases, their semantic proximity, stylistic connotations, and usage scope through concrete examples. It also examines how synonymic gradation is expressed in context and how it affects the overall meaning of the text. The results of this study have significant theoretical and practical value for Uzbek linguistics and translation studies.
