Keywords:

This article analyzes structural models used for translating mathematical terminology between Uzbek and English languages. Special attention is given to translation methods such as borrowing, calque, functional equivalence, and descriptive translation. The paper discusses challenges encountered in translating mathematical terms due to linguistic asymmetry and cultural differences. Examples illustrate effective solutions employed by translators to overcome these challenges, highlighting the practical aspects of translation techniques in mathematics-specific contexts.
